On Saturday 1st February, Aspire Private British School Computer Science students showcased the impressive apps that they have designed.
Attending the YouthTechFest event at The Warehouse Event Space in Limassol, they presented their projects to a large audience, including the YouthTechFest team.
Dimitrii’s Keeplistening app, which converts spoken words into text, is particularly beneficial for writers working on books or articles who need to capture large amounts of content quickly. It can also be adapted for users with visual needs improving accessibility.
Vladimir and Daniil presented Geotrack, an app that tracks public buses, providing users with real-time updates on bus locations and arrival times. The app also offers several additional features. Geotrack caught the attention of the event organizer, Sean Alimov, who expressed interest in connecting Vladimir and Daniil with the Ministry of Transport to discuss further possibilities.
In addition, Daniil was awarded a brand-new iPhone 16 through a raffle held for student competitors at the event. This completed a great day packed with interactive shows, workshops, masterclasses, and hands-on activities led by scientists, engineers and programmers.
Well done to all.
