TRAVELLING TO SCHOOL

Aspire Private British School is easily accessible from all areas in and around the Paphos region.

By car

We  ask parents to use the roundabout as the entrance  to the school car park located at the back of the building.  Please then use the other exit as the exit – this exit has a no entry sign from the main road and so it is very clear that no one should be using this as an entry.  This one-way system really does help to keep all our children safe. Please adhere to this system.

We also ask that you  drive very slowly and carefully when entering and leaving the car park. Please always check twice or three times before slowly pulling out and be considerate of the children – they are young and often excited when they see their friends so they do not always look properly. We must take care for the good of all our children. Drop off and pick up is a busy time so please be patient and vigilant at all times.

By public bus

There is a public bus stop immediately outside the School Reception which is a popular stop on many bus routes from most surrounding areas. Students are entitled to half-price tickets on production of their Aspire student card.

Private bus service

Many parents also make use of the private door to door service and children can be of any age to use the service.  Pick up areas usually include Aphrodite’s Hills/Secret Valley, Geroskipou, Paphos, Kissonerga, Chlorakas, Tsada, Tala, Pegia, Coral Bay and Polis. Please contact the school to receive further information about this service provided by an external company.

By bicycle

The school has a bicycle lane right outside providing a healthy and safe alternative route for students to travel to school. Bike stands are also available at the back of the school for students to store their bikes during the school day.

Children making their own way home

Secondary pupils often make their own way home whereas most primary children are collected. Any primary children not being collected by parents will need written permission at the beginning of the school year stating this.
