ASPIRE’S MEDIMUN DELEGATES

, ,

MEDIMUN (The Mediterranean Model United Nations) are conferences that replicate and create simulations of the United Nations where students from different schools become delegates and represent different countries, acting as the representatives of the UN member state. Students participate in debates and provide solutions to certain topics and represent the ideologies and attitudes of their chosen country. It is held at the prestigious ‘University of Nicosia’ located in the centre of Nicosia, Cyprus.

The students of Aspire, who are the representatives and delegates of Lebanon and New Zealand, participated in a workshop held on the 20th of November, at The English School where students were educated on the rules of the procedure, the conference structure of the event and how to thoroughly research issues chosen from the committees as well as the policies of the chosen country so students can adopt the approach of a real UN diplomat.
