To commemorate 1st April, Cyprus National Day, we have decided to consider the importance of independence, peace and freedom by creating a whole-school ‘figure of freedom’.
In an attempt to symbolise peace, the students will form a large outline of the island of Cyprus on the playground using rope, students will then attach white paper cut-out doves and olive branches around the outline to create a visual piece of artwork.
The whole school community including parents, grandparents, school alumni and Y7-9 students who are not physically present with us at the moment will cut out doves and send into school for us to attach to our ‘figure of freedom’ on Wednesday. Messages of hope will be added to the doves and we hope this will stand as a figure of freedom and unity in these difficult times.

Assessments are held throughout the year but please apply early as places are limited. Children should be over four and the assessment is an informal session, lasting up to 30 minutes. Please bring your child’s latest school/nursery report where applicable.

Prospective students who are studying GCSEs will not require assessment. Prospective students without GCSEs will be required to sit an assessment which consists of a Mathematics paper, a reading comprehension paper and a writing task. This takes approximately 3 hours.
The interview for all prospective students focuses primarily on their proposed A Level choices, as well as being an opportunity to discuss extra-curricular interests and career ambitions.
